The same approach applies to our monitoring solution: discreet, elegant pendants and watch-type wristbands that automatically send patients’ positions to their carers. The solution can also automatically lock doors and windows when it senses an approaching risk.

Calls from patients go directly to the right people — a doctor, nurse or carer. No time is wasted; staff always know which resident is waiting. Incoming resident calls appear discreetly as text messages on a designated carer’s wireless device, rather than being announced openly on corridor displays. This protects residents’ privacy and creates a calmer, more home-like atmosphere.

Wristband and pendant accessories improve residents’ mobility and safety, so residents can fully participate in leisure and therapeutic activities and still make a call when needed. With a wireless phone, the nurse can speak directly to the doctor and immediately assess needs without taking a step — saving movement and time and reducing workload. The system lets the nurse transfer a call and allocate services through predefined tasks, or automatically forward the call to assigned secondary nurses, so the patient’s needs are addressed promptly.
