About the product
The system was designed together with operating-room clinicians to provide a safe, easy-to-use generator that meets all the performance requirements of surgical procedures. This innovative device offers 13 surgical energy delivery modes, including Advanced Bovie Bipolar, Auto Bipolar and special laparoscopic modes — included to help surgeons adapt all electrosurgical needs to the variety of surgical applications and user preferences.
Safety features:
- BovieNEM: neutral-electrode contact-quality monitoring designed to minimise burns;
- BovieFDFS: tissue-detection technology that measures tissue 5 million times per second and adjusts to varying impedances 5,000 times per second for precise energy delivery;
- Ammeter: indicates the real-time current (mA) flowing through the patient;
- BovieDED: monitors all generator functions to ensure constant safety for patient, physician and OR staff.
Operating modes:
- Cut I (pure cutting): 300 W; Cut II (laparoscopic procedures): 300 W;
- Blend (cut-coagulation): 200 W (4 levels available);
- 3 coagulation levels: 120 W — Pinpoint (precise), Spray, Gentle;
- Bipolar (bipolar coagulation): 3 levels — Macro (150 W), Micro (80 W), Standard (50 W);
- Bovie Bipolar: 225 W; Auto Bipolar: 80 W.
