GE HealthCare MUSE™ NX is the cardiology information management system that integrates ECGs directly into the EMR and hospital workflow — helping clinicians identify, analyze and address emerging cardiac issues, wherever the patient is. Built on 50 years of GE ECG innovation, MUSE NX gives complete access to a patient’s entire cardiology record from a single point.
The workflow impact is major: ECG capture time drops from 45 to 10 minutes, and current and previous patient traces can be compared on the same screen. Worklist prioritization in non-invasive modes automatically identifies STAT, Urgent and Routine studies, so the cardiologist sees the critical cases first. The 12SL™ algorithms and measurements are validated on thousands of records and hundreds of peer-reviewed studies.
MUSE NX is fully HL7 and DICOM compliant, integrating with all GE electrocardiographs (MAC 3/5/7, CASE, SEER, CardioSoft) and existing HIS/EMR systems. Enterprise-grade security for HIPAA and GDPR: audit trail, LDAP access management, encryption. Available on-premise, hybrid or cloud, scalable from a single clinic to multi-hospital networks.
