XLED surgical light

XLED® surgical lights are modular and cover the requirements of all surgical specialties. Whatever the configuration, XLED® delivers the ideal intensity and amount of light for each procedure.

Why LEDs? White LEDs require no recalibration and therefore no costly annual maintenance. The LEDs in the XLED® surgical light guarantee accurate colour rendering — particularly important for the red colour-rendering index, to identify poorly vascularised tissue, blood vessels and bone far more effectively.

The fixed colour temperature is 4400 K, while the variable colour temperature offers 4 values: 3500 K, 4000 K, 4500 K and 5000 K. The XLED™ surgical light with adjustable colour temperature has the same advantages as fixed white LEDs while offering extra functions: by selecting from the 4 calibrated colour temperatures, the user can choose light adapted to their visual preferences — warmer, orange-leaning colours or cooler, blue-leaning tones — to aid tissue differentiation.

The XLED light is available in a simple configuration, with HD video readiness, or fitted with a video camera, surgical monitor (HD or 4K) and a photo-video documentation unit.

• Light intensity up to 160,000 lux at a 25 cm beam diameter;
• Ambient/endo light up to 400 lux;
• Shadow reduction: the 20-LED matrix in each spot produces 20 perfectly overlapping light beams — when the surgical field is partly obstructed, it remains uniformly lit.
