AI PATHOLOGY DETECTION — AGFA SCANXR
ScanXR — AI pathology detection
Agfa ScanXR — an AI solution that automatically analyzes chest X-rays and flags suspected pathologies, assisting the radiologist in triage and prioritization for faster diagnosis.
Model: Agfa ScanXR
DESCRIPTION
About the product
ScanXR is Agfa’s artificial-intelligence solution for automatic pathology detection on chest X-rays. The algorithm analyzes each image immediately after acquisition and flags suspicious areas (nodules, opacities, pneumothorax, pleural effusion, pneumonia-type changes, etc.), giving the radiologist a digital “second pair of eyes”.
ScanXR assists triage and prioritization — cases with critical findings can be moved to the front of the worklist, speeding up diagnosis in urgent situations. It integrates into the Agfa DR workflow and PACS without slowing down the exam. It increases diagnostic confidence, especially in high-volume services or where a radiologist is not available around the clock.
