ROTATIONAL ATHERECTOMY — BD
Rotarex atherectomy system
Excisional rotational atherectomy system for peripheral arteries — cuts, captures and removes thrombus.
Model: BD Rotarex
DESCRIPTION
About the product
The Rotarex atherectomy system (BD) is an excisional rotational atherectomy device, indicated for fragmenting and removing thrombus from native or stented peripheral arteries, stent-grafts or native/artificial bypass.
The excisional rotational mechanism cuts, captures and removes debris simultaneously through a single catheter, minimising the risk of distal embolisation and improving vessel patency. Aspiration rates of 45–75 ml/min ensure removal of plaque and of acute-to-chronic thrombus.
Construction with a Nitinol central shaft with a hydrophilic PTFE coating and a flexible angled tip for crossing lesions.
