DESCRIPTION
About the product
The Sonopet iQ ultrasonic aspiration system is a medical device used to fragment, emulsify and aspirate tissue — both soft and hard (bone-type) — using high-frequency ultrasound technology (25 kHz).
The system comprises:
- Handpiece with piezoelectric technology for increased reliability and low weight. It is resterilisable, accepts up to 14 ultrasonic tip designs and features a quick coupling for the irrigation/suction tubing via plastic sleeves; the ultrasonic tips are secured by threading with a torque wrench, ensuring optimal coupling to keep the working tip in frequency;
- Sterile silicone irrigation/aspiration tubing that connects quickly to the handpiece and the container;
- Console providing the power, suction and irrigation needed for the surgical procedure;
- Ergonomic footswitch compatible with the console, made of a non-slip abrasive material;
- Stainless-steel infusion pole for connecting the infusion bag and the irrigation/suction tubing;
- Transparent, reusable suction canister;
- Suction filter that couples to the console suction system and detaches easily;
- Mobile cart with a console support, suction-container support, accessory drawer and 4 castors (at least two lockable).
