DESCRIPTION
About the product
The closed system for managing and handling fluid waste and evacuating surgical smoke consists of two units: a fixed unit for liquid-waste disposal (docking station) and a mobile unit for collecting and storing liquid waste.
The fixed unit (docking station) enables magnetic coupling, fluid evacuation and automatic washing of the collection canisters in the mobile unit. It transfers data by infrared with the mobile unit and includes:
- Mounting console for secure wall installation on a flat surface;
- Waste-evacuation port; detergent intake port; water intake port for connection to the cold-water supply in the operating suite;
- On/off button;
- Magnetic docking mechanism for automatic connection of the mobile unit;
- Infrared communication port; lateral guides for easy, safe alignment of the mobile collection unit; power cable.
The mobile unit includes:
- Control panel and a colour touchscreen of at least 8.4 inches; at least 2 collection ports; infrared communication port;
- 2 collection canisters: at least 4 L and at least 20 L;
- Secondary pivoting LCD screen of at least 7 inches, rotating 360°;
- Motorised height-adjustable IV pole; speaker; storage for at least 5 new, unused collection devices;
- Interchangeable HEPA air filter (at least 500 hours of use);
- Built-in surgical smoke evacuator; ULPA filter for surgical smoke (at least 80 hours of use);
- Transport handle; swivel castors (at least 2 lockable); power cable of at least 5.5 m.
Main features:
- The fluid-collection port closes automatically when a canister is removed, preventing spills and foreign objects entering;
- The 4 L canister overflows automatically into the 20 L canister when full; both have level sensors;
- Each canister has a protective door that can be opened to view/analyse the contents; a detachable single-use device can connect at least 4 patient suction tubes, with check valves to prevent backflow;
- The motorised IV pole supports at least four 3 L bags and is electrically actuated from the control panel;
- Suction power is adjustable, 50–520 mmHg;
- The surgical smoke evacuator accepts at least 3 suction-tube diameters and automatically detects surgical smoke, activating an automatic flow-regulation mode; 10 smoke-suction speeds available;
- When the mobile unit docks, after evacuating collected fluids, an enzymatic-detergent wash cycle of the canisters can be selected;
- At least 3 wash cycles: quick (max 2 min) or standard (max 5 min) between procedures, and complete (max 50 min) at the end of the operating list.
