About the product
The STERIS V-PRO S2 is the compact solution for low-temperature sterilization of heat- and moisture-sensitive instruments. It uses VHP™ (Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide) technology — hydrogen peroxide vaporized in fast-cycle chambers that leaves instruments ready to use with no toxic residue and no aeration time.
The small chamber (~45 L) makes the V-PRO S2 ideal for specialty practices with moderate instrument volume — ENT, ophthalmology, invasive cardiology, gastroenterology, urology. It handles rigid endoscopes, long thin lumened instruments (down to 1 mm diameter × 850 mm length), electrical cables, polymer and composite instruments. Typical cycle 28–55 minutes, fully automated, with 6-log validation.
