WHAT NEUROFEEDBACK IS

Brain training with real-time feedback

Neurofeedback (BrainFeedback, BFB) is a non-invasive technique through which the patient "trains" their brainwaves with the help of real-time visual / auditory feedback. EEG sensors pick up the brain's electrical activity, the software analyses it instantly, and the patient sees on screen a game, a graph or a video that reacts to their own brainwaves.

In this way, through operant conditioning, the brain learns to produce beneficial patterns — theta waves decrease, alpha increases, beta stabilises. The Deymed BFB module is one of the most advanced on the market: it integrates Z-Score training (based on the normative database), LORETA neurofeedback (at the cortical source, not just at the scalp) and a library of 27 custom 3D games.
