The bellavista 1000 neo (ZOLL) is the newborn-optimised version of the bellavista platform — the only one with an internal turbine that supports tidal volumes from 2 mL. The bellavista 1000 neo keeps the internal-turbine architecture of the bellavista family (no external compressor, battery autonomy, HL7 connectivity) but adds the elements indispensable in neonatal intensive care: tidal volume from 2 mL, the nCPAP and nIPPV modes with the Infant Flow® LP interface, Burst Backup for apnea, and flow sensors with an extremely low dead space.

The gold interface for neonatal CPAP
Infant Flow® LP (low pressure) is the interface developed anatomically for the newborn. It significantly reduces the work of breathing through the unique design of the flow generator — adapted to neonatal nasal dimensions and physiology.

SYNCHRONISATION

Burst Backup
Apnea of prematurity — automatic management
Burst Backup is the backup ventilation mode for neonatal apnea — it automatically activates synchronised breaths when an apnea episode is detected, then returns to nCPAP when the newborn resumes spontaneous effort. Essential in the NICU.
